Hazaribagh, a district in the middle of the metropolis of Dhaka, Bangladesh is listed under the 10th dirtiest place in the world. For over 60 years, the leather industry used the area for its dirty business. Now a new place has been found, partly because of international pressure through NGOs and Governments. But whats left in a place where around 21 thousand liters of waste water were thrown daily in the Buriganga River, lifeline of Dhaka? How to handle the ecological mess?
